This tutorial shows you how to create layout views for terminals to accurate depict them in panel layouts.

In the Creating a component's layout view tutorial you saw how to create a layout for a component by showing the components in the tree view. 
If you're trying to create a layout for a terminal, you won't find terminals under Components.
To show terminals in the tree view:

1. Select the project in the tree view
2. Go to the Show tab and select Terminal Strips. (This will list all the terminal strips in the project)
3. Select a terminal strip, go to the Show tab and select Terminal strip elements. (This will list all the elements in the terminal strip)
4. From here, follow the steps in the Creating a component's layout view tutorial to create a layouts for your terminal strip elements, then save them to catalogue
