Adding a fuse to a fuse holder or fuse terminal can be done from wherever the fuse holder or fuse terminal is shown in the project; e.g. from the schematics, tree view, parts list, BOM or panel layout.
To add a fuse:
Double-click on the fuse holder or fuse terminal to explore its properties
Go to the Create/Add tab and select New fuse
The fuse is created and given the same tag as the fuse holder or fuse terminal, since it is an accessory of the fuse holder or fuse terminal.
(You may have to scroll down or expand the window to see the fuse that was added)
Explore the properties of the fuse, enter the details (part number is the most important), select the fuse and choose Save to save it to your catalogue for later use, as you would for any other component
Selecting a fuse holder or fuse terminal that contains a fuse and saving it to catalogue, will save the fuse holder or terminal including the fuse
If you’ve entered a value in the Current property of the fuse, it will display near the fuse holder or fuse terminal
Fuse terminals shown in terminal strip layouts, will have an F if they have a fuse in it
