Running quick setup

When you launched SkyCAD for the first time, after logging in, you would have been led through a quick setup, which begins with this window:

If you clicked Next, you would have had to choose your desired symbol standard (IEEE, IEC, Aus/NZ), coordinates and numbering format (Standard or Rung) and title block information.

If instead of clicking Next you clicked Cancel, then Run SkyCAD using default settings, SkyCAD would have chosen the IEEE symbol standard, Standard coordinates (alphanumeric columns and rows) and a basic numbering format (PB1, PB2, PB3, etc.).

If you wish to run quick setup again to make different choices:

1. Select 'SkyCAD' in the tree view
   
   
   
    
2. Go to the Home tab and select 'Run quick setup'
   
   

NOTE: Once a project is created, it becomes bound to the symbol library (IEEE, IEC, Aus/NZ) which was active at the time.
Therefore, if you open a project that was created with a symbol library different to the current one, the symbol library associated to the project will become active.

If you wish to change the symbol library which a project uses, follow these steps:

1. Close all items in the tree view
2. Run quick setup again or change the active symbol library to the one you want
3. Select SkyCAD in the tree view
4. Go to the Create/Add tab and select Open Project to open the project you want
5. The project should now use the symbol library you chose in step 2
