V1.3.65 change log
Version 1.3.65 is now available for download here.
Here's an overview of fixes and added features.
Added features:
- Improve default part-number process fo connections
- Add 'GetUnlinkedOPRS' query.
- Allow for 'wire-flow-through' splice.
- Allow to list layouts with heavy graphical blocks, and offer to convert to image.
- Add 'IsActive' query to Option object
- Allow to add a connection port directly from a selected connection port group.
- Show '(Stacked)' suffix for Terminal object's displayed label value only when terminal strip is show as parent row.
- Add 'Block mapping rule' type objects, allowing to further customise the Block generator.
- Add 'Discrimation rule' property to harness branch class, allowing to disallow routed elements being routed through it.
- Allow for multiple routes in harness routing process.
- Table of content not to be systeatically initialised upon start-up
- Allow 'Termina strip tools/Disconnect' button to work for multiple selected cells.
- Allow for 'Terminal strip tools/Disconnect' to be displayed in contextual menu.
- Disallow contextual saving when sub-element's current revision is closed.
- Print scaling and positionning issue. (+ add print margin possibility)
- Allow mirroring connectivity decisions when setting terminal strip connectivity.
- User should be able to cancel connector pin value tranfer from Component to Connector pin.

- Add message when user attempt linking cable connections together (Inform they should use OPRs.)

- Make it so net GetFirstConnection and 'GetNavigationObjects' queries takes into consideration 'Priority Connection'property.
- Allow not to display location terminal location prefix on terminal strip connectivity info.
- Linking connector pin symbols together and graphical terminal junction symbols together should be disallowed.
- Disallow Save in context for List block (but allow 'Save As'...)
- Add 'LastSaved' query to show last save date and time of a SkyCAD object,
- Explore on text object should automatically select 'Value' property.
- Disallow saving a location when components are layed-out in it already. (Breaks links with components later...)
- Optimise Cabling process associated to Cable indicators
- Make SkyCAD more responsive/fast on large projects
- Add 'GetTopMostLocation' query associated to the 'Location' class.
- Flip terminal/juunction should be allowed even if Terminal connection point block are used on junction
- Remove 'Do you wish to save?' message when closing a packaged project.
- Add 'Show unrepresented port' button when Stacked terminal strip view is shown
- Add 'Link to terminal junction port' command for Connection point block.
- Allow to make a wires multiple selection of wires belonging to several nets.
- Export projects to intelligent PDFs.
- Allow to control file saving version, so users can be prompt file is newer than version they have.
- Improve terminal junction navigation
- Bridging on none-flow-through terminal should only consider Side A port as bridged.
- Add 'GetRepresentedConnectionPortGroup' to Graphical IO class.
- Improvements on assigning unassigned IOs. (And add 'Unassign I/Os' feature.)
- Double-click Graphical IO block should reach Associated connection port group even if its not an IO.
Bugs fixed:
- Assigning Numbering format to sub-class of the Component class assigns it to the Component class instead.
- 'Create graphical block' and 'Create graphical grouping' sometiemes show when they shouldn't if sheet is selected.
- 'Show empty attributes' short ribbon item text sometimes showing as full description ('Show empty attribute names')
- Connector pins shown in a harness' implemented elements show the virtual termination lug associated to teh pin instead of the pin itself.
- 'Printable' property not appplied to connection objects
- Cable indicator Wire info sometimes not displayed on project opening.
- Fill property of drawing object does not interpreted correctly when a query is used.
- Drawing colors show as light mode after prinitng in dark mode (until refresh...)
- Part sent to catalogue have a preview layout image with dark backgroun if user has dark mode setup.
- Scale not applied to list itme block when it belongs to a catalogue part
- Available ports to connect do not consider bridged terminals.
- Allow to show tag in Work ID display for termination lugs
- Cable wires connected on only one end excluded from harness wire list even if cable is part of harness.
- Issue with package parts when image files are stored in sub-directory of the environment 'Image' folder.
- GetLineItemNumber query does not seem to return the right item number (when it returns an item at all...)
- Add new A0 size sheet class (and rename and hide the old one.)
- Connector pin number matching process not triggered when using 'Renumber All'.
- Cable wire text uses text properties of default connection text object instead of wire text object.
- Terminal strip list view only shows connection port value on 'Connected To' side whent it's an accessory.
- Automated packaging process for online catalogue part uplaod packages what is selected in addition to part.
- Renumbering wires or components while a project is 'Flagged as Built' will systematically renumber sheets.
- Renumbering cable wires does not give constent results
- Old links between connections and cable wires not deleted as they should be during cabling process.
- Make it so evaluation of terminal connectivity stops at Connection Point block, so it doesn't go 'through' a terminal.
- Undo takes a long time on large sheets with lots of content
- Terminal connection point block: bridged junction show connection possibility between parenthisis when it shouldn't.
- When terminal connection point block is used, 'Resolved connectivity' may force a 'N/C', which can no longer be reset.
- First element selected (which triggers library association) unnecessarily triggers full reset of cached values.
- Inserting symbols and deleting symbols on a sheet slower when large reports are open in the view tab area.
- Issue with cable source/destionation swapped in some situations
- Assigning part from catalogue laggy on large projects
- Rendering of sheets becomes super laggy when many objects are selected in tree view
- Property fields are sometime not large enough to show entire text content.
- Routing is not pplied when running wire processing while project is flagged as 'Built'
- Connector pin with part number not listed in Harness BOM
- Explore of a Harness connector pin symbol should reach the Connector pin, and not the 'Harness connector pin' object, which is a virtual object.
- Assigning a terminal from catalogue does not always mapped lined connection point block correctly, which changs connectivity info.
- Remove CommonID property from data model
- Wires connecting terminals from a same terminal strip show wrong source/destination info.
- Graphical rendering issue if a drawing object has a fill color transparency greather thn 255.
- Quick setup window improvement
- Embedded components not listed in Harness BOM
- Format painter copies wrong color in dark mode.
